Patrick has been playing music since he first started to play guitar with his brother David at the age of 14. Since then he has played in bands throughout the British Isles and gigged in; Scandinavia, France, Germany, Italy and America. Although Patrick's role in the band is Lead Vocals /Front man/Saxophone he also plays Guitar, Harmonica, Keyboards and Clarinet.

Patrick has always been a massive fan of both bands Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran and has wanted to form a tribute band for years but it was not until the right musicians with the right skills and attitude came along that the band RIO GOLD could be formed.
